The VISUAL EFFECT is a specialization motion graphics curriculum for producing attention grabbing visual effects for film, television and video.
Visual effects (commonly shortened to Visual F/X or VFX) are the various processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shoot. Visual effects involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture on film.
Visual effects using computer generated imagery (CGI) have become increasingly common in big-budget films, and have also recently become accessible to the amateur filmmaker with the introduction of affordable animation and compositing software.
This is design in motion students are taught everything from Pre-Visualization, shooting techniques, Matte painting, Restoration and re-touching, 3D for VFX to Production techniques with the industry standard software and extensive final project.
The program enables students to attain expertise in creating a seamlessly composted Digital Video from concept to production, everything from pre-visualization, shooting techniques, matte painting, restoration and retouching, VFX Production techniques etc….
